you cannot increase your memory. You can increase your frequency of the video memory. I dont rec really. it`s not just a tweak you need more vents and other things... it`z preatty hard to overclock...

RAM can be virtually increased with Virtual Memory:
Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory > adjust appropriately.
Keep in mind that this uses hard disk space.
I'm not quite sure about video memory, though.

Yes you can, you have to try to get your hands on a program that will enable you to overclock your ram card, it will increase the speed at which data is loaded and the ram space will increase but the bad thing to it is ur ram life spen is goin 2 shrink, than if you don't want your ram to die to quick you can use a liquid cooler or some sort of cooling system for your ram that way you can push ur unit to 150 to 200% performance but the pushing will mainly depend on how cool the ram card is

Yes, you can swap memory with your sslllooowww hard drive, but this could be just a bottleneck with any memory intensive process. You're better of just buying and installing more RAM.

Yes, as a matter of fact. It's called "Virtual Memory" or "Page File" You may use a portion of your HDD to act like it is RAM. Windows XP should be doing this automatically already, but if you want to change it (in XP), go to start>Control Panel>(switch to Classic View)>System>Advanced (which is a tab)>Settings (the one under "Performance")>Advanced (another tab)>Change (under "Virtual Memory") and it should open up a menu for changing it. I recommend using "Let Windows Choose" or something like that. However, Virtual Memory is generally slower than RAM.
As for Video Memory, I know of no way to increase it unless you purchased an improved graphics card.
Hope this helps!
