I sent my laptop for repairs a couple months ago and when I got it back I had lines (down up) on the sreen, maybe 3 to 6 depending. It doesn't really bother me but it's annoying when watching movies.
Would my warranty cover it? Is it really worth the hassle of repair services? (It's still covered) You know how those services sometime take their times... and I use this for work too... err//

Yes, take it back, once the warranty is over it will not be cover. Take the advantage of the warranty, if there are lines across the screens, usually it based on pixel burn out, and believe or not it will get worst. I know, I fix LCD screens all the time so please take it for repairs, before you may have to pay more than $300 dollars for repairs.

I would check your warrenty on if it is covered, most common is 1 year warrenty so if you have had it for longer then that then it wont be covered I would bet. but if not, call up the customer services, ask to speak to the supervisor, and explain that you have had it shipped to be fixed and it was not repaired properly and to have this one repaired asap.Say you need it for work or something important other then watching movies lol ;)

It might be covered. Ask and see if you can have a new one. If they tell you they can't change it or take it in for repairs again, then buy a new one. At least try.
