Basicly i am upgrading my cpu fan and i bought thermal paste with it. Do i have to clean or scrape off the old thermal paste or do i just apply then new paste over it? THANK YOU SO MUCH.

We have our server plugged into a UPS box and I am wondering what purpose it serves. Is it supposed to keep our server running if the power goes out? Is it supposed to sound an alarm when the power goes out and it is running off battery?

It's an APC brand.

Any info will help, thanks.

My mom installed our printer using the Windows Add New Hardware Wizard instead of the printers installation disk, how do I remove the printer completely so I can re-install it with the disk and get the extras that come with it. FIY it is a Lexmark Z23.

And i cannot just go to the add/remove programs bc since it wasnt installed with the disk it isnt a program.

When I starts my pc the fans spin, the drivers have lights, but it never beeps. after 20 minutsit beeps & starts it. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

If I plug the Ipod in to charge it wont let me stay online. Its like only 1 USB port can operate at a time. Any Ideas why? Also my connection is DSL if that helps. Also its not only the Ipod...anything that must go in the other USB port causes this problem.

My Dell Inspiron 5160 is almost 2 years old. I have never had to replace any parts until now. My adapter and my battery were both about ka-put, so I ordered new ones, but my computer is still so slow. I have a lot of music and picture files, but not enough to take up all of the memory. I have had games on there but they are all currently uninstalled. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

I need to transfer all info from 80gig to a 160 gig hard drive.
