i have a rewriteable cd.last month i copied some data on it. and then when i wanted to erase the CD,i couldnt. and its broken. i cant even open it. what should i do?!

if its due to scratches, u can always look for CD scratch removers at the mall. if its due to a change in your drive, revert ack to the previous one used (or buy same model & brand). if its due to software then re-install the previous one you used to read RW CD's. there's always some CD-RW standards followed by some burner software.

Mahdi Did you format it with Nero? Did you finalise the CD after you burn the files? If you have not finalise then use your scandisk to see what's happening.

Always make sure you verify writen DATA to disk with software you use to burn CD or DVD. This way you know for sure your disk is working fine.
