I downloadeda movie, and the audio is really quiet.. how can i increase the volume of the audio, what program should i use?.... 10 points for best answer, (don't wanna hear anything about u telling me to rent one)

ive just bought a pair of labtec"pulse"2.1 speakers for a bargain price of £12-99,it has 2 sattelite speakers and a sub-woofer
has anyone bought these and if so,what do you think of them,bearing in mind,they are less than £13 and there pretty decent pc speakers

can you damage a gpu,as i tried ati tool on a radeon 9550 but bottled out after 1 second of using the core memory tool,i think it had only gone about 2mhz until i saw the word "heating"and thats when i thought "no",its not worth it
it seems ok and when i run dxdiag all tests come back ok,i have run some ati demos and they are ok,but if i would of carried on ,would it have damaged the card or would it just stop when it got to its max operating speed
also ,which is the better card,ati or nvidia,ive had both(i reckon nvidia(ecspecially for games)),but are matrox cards any good,ive done a bit of research on them,but some feedback would be helpful

This is a new laptop, the place I bought it from said that it was 1.6 ghz. The performance speed of this Sempron mobile processor is 2.6 ghz. Is there a reason that it displays 798 mhz and is it really that slow?

What type cable connects a Compaq Presario V2000 with a HP Laserjet 1100 printer?
The HP does not use standard parallel, and my notebook uses mostly USB. (There's something called "Expansion Port", but I'm not sure if a printer cable would be compatible.)

My wife believes my daughter hit something on the keyboard and it lockec up. When you Ctrl-Alt-Del and get password field, you get a warning chime everytime you try to type password. Does anyone have any idea what needs to be done to unlock?

It was not charging when i had it plugged it in so i got really mad. It continued to do this for a long time so i finally got really mad and stressed that i punched my laptop. Then the next day i tried charging it and i noticed that the part where the charger was supposed to go in had gotten pushed back and I was not able to use my laptop anymore. I was scared to tell my parents so i ended up using the other computer in my home. My brother was on the comp. I told him to leave and he said no so i ended up telling my parents everything and im going to get it fixed tonight when my dad gets back from work. Im scared what if the same thing happens again. What should i do to keep myself from puching it cuz i already tried punching the main family computer.

I just built a new computer from the ground up. Everything on it is running fine except that I cannot connect to the internet. When I attempt to install the necessary programs provided by my high speed cable provider, I get a message return "Cannot detect your Network Interface Card (NIC).

The connections are double checked between the cable modem, the ethernet plugs and where it plugs into my motherboard.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI NF4SLI 939

The built in helper instructs me to go to 'Start -> control panel -> add hardware -> (install detected hardware). I can't complete the last step because it doesn't detect any new hardware.

Is there something else that I should be looking for or something else that I should be doing? I can't connect to the internet until this is resolved.
