Depending on how many ports your router has, you should be able to just plug an ethernet wire from your router to the computer that you want to connect to the router. The computer should automatically read the router ip and connect to the internet. You may have to do some tweaking with older versions of Windows through control planel > network but otherwise it should automatically connect.
If it does not. Try reseting both your modem and then your router with all the ethernet cords plugged into the correct locations.

Go purchase a switch at a Big Box store (Circuit City, Best Buy), and plug that into one of the wired ports of your EtherFast cable router. Then you can plug in more machines.
Or, get a wireless access point and then you'll have wireless access to your network. DON'T get a wireless ROUTER, because that will just add an extra hop between your EtherFast router and the rest of your machines. Get a switch or a wireless access point.
Good luck.

I would of thought you had more ports available on your router, most have 4-5. If you don't I would suggest you purchase a dedicated modem and then a dedicated 5 port router so that you can have a managed connection. If you don't want to do that just go purchase a 5 port switch for about $25.00 and you are done!

Get a hub - 8-port Switching hubs are pretty cheap. Run one ethernet wire fron a router port to the crossover port on the hub (usually port 8, unless theres a seperate one). Good Luck!
