It was not charging when i had it plugged it in so i got really mad. It continued to do this for a long time so i finally got really mad and stressed that i punched my laptop. Then the next day i tried charging it and i noticed that the part where the charger was supposed to go in had gotten pushed back and I was not able to use my laptop anymore. I was scared to tell my parents so i ended up using the other computer in my home. My brother was on the comp. I told him to leave and he said no so i ended up telling my parents everything and im going to get it fixed tonight when my dad gets back from work. Im scared what if the same thing happens again. What should i do to keep myself from puching it cuz i already tried punching the main family computer.

This is not a computer question really, but a mental health question. You're getting too angry and taking it out on objects that are delicate. If you have to punch something, punch a pillow. Better yet, quit the computer immediately and take a long walk until you calm down. If you are around people, just say to them you are going for a walk and will return when calm, and go. When you feel the anger welling up, start to breathe deeply and detach from what you are doing. Then go for that walk.
Try talking to a school guidance counselor about the anger. If you're getting that mad about things and it scares YOU, imagine who it may scare other people. Anger backfires on us when it is acted out so dramatically, doesn't it? You should consider reading Angry All the Time by Ron Potter-Effron... the best book I've ever seen on it. Yes, I think a kid can understand this book.

You need anger management classes from a professional.
Also, take care of things WHEN they go wrong rather than letting it build up.
If you had punched the LCD, it would have cost more to fix the screen than buying a new laptop.

next time you have that prob tell your parents right away that way you can get the power supply/power cord fixed or replaced it's probably under warenty and even if it's not you can't be blamed for computer parts wearring down.... it happens to everyone..... i had a power supply quit on me and a complete all in one motherboard, pain to replace and costly sometimes but these things happen.... also DON'T PUNCH the machines..... they don't feel your frustration even though i completely understand it......

Never punch a laptop unless you have the Panasonic Toughbook which you can slam it on the floor or pour water on it and it won't break. That is what I heard on the commercials.

Get a little control over yourself. Don't puch computers. They wouldn't freeze up or anything if people didn't run them so hard, be nice for once....

anger management! and try to have some respect for all of the hours your parents worked to buy it for you. maybe you should go get a job and see how much effort and time it takes to earn the money to buy one. you would think awfully hard about hitting it then.

You're almost 12 and you have your own laptop? I'm almost 20 and didn't get my own laptop until I was almost 19.
