I'm looking for a new desktop mac, probably with intel. I hate loud fans and hard drives. Imac or mac mini? Which models?

Proabably NOT the Mac Mini. Jobs hates fans too, that's why he didn't but one in the first Macintosh Computers, instead it cooled by "convection" but because of the faster processors in today's PC, Fans are a must or they'll melt down in no time....
And from all accounts, the Imac isn't quiet either (last link)
I would suggest going to an Apple store to see for yourself

all are quiet, all laptops that i know! so pick one u like other stuff about it, much more important specs!
