i have a 40 GB harddisk but the BIOS as well as windows is unable to
show the whole disk space!and it rather shows approx. 33 GB only!So,how
can i make my harddisk to show and work on the 6 to 7 GB disk space

i have had 2 games crash on me"ballistics" and "x111" both of which are from game download sites
i have tried boxed original games like toca,dead mans hand,ect and they work fine,so is it just a bug in the downloaded games ,as it cant be my graphic card ,can it? as 99% of games i play are fine
i used dxdiag and tested direct x interfaces and all tests were succsesfull
can anyone tell me of such a graphic card diagnostic tool(but not 3d mark)as my card(radeon 9550)is not the best card ,but it does for the amount of gaming i do

I have a windows PC right now and I am planning to change it to a new Mac Book. I mainly use the computer for web browsing, IM and reasearch and typing. I am quite interested in graphics designing. I worry much about compatibility issues. Which is better for me and why. If you have experiences with MACS and/or PC can you tell me please. Thanks ^_^

I am planning to burn copies of my graduation movie onto at least 40 DVDs. I heard from one source that burning them one after another would cause overheating and destroy the DVD burner. Are there any experts out there who can confirm that? If it's true, then is it better to give a 15-30 minute break for my intel iMac after each burning session?

i don't know... at certain point, my PC starts with the BIOS and says that the speed and frequency does not match up... but when i'm going to configure it, i can't stoke a bit on the keyboard.... it just hungs up and needs to be restarted... what seems to be the problem?! do i need to buy a new motherboard?!

I tried Intel's Website but I could not figure out if my Dual Core processor is a 32-bit or a 64-bit processor. All I found is that it uses Intel's EM64T which enables access to larger amounts of memory. I have a Dell XPS 400 and I want to test Windows Vista 64-bit instead of the 32-bit if possible. My Disk Drive Letters won't be reused. For instance, whenever I plug in a USB storage device, it will use letters, for instance, F:\ and G:\ and the next time use H:\ and I:\. They aren't even connected and I still can't use them. Now I can only connect one thing at a time using B:\. Help!

So here is the problem: No dirt, no dust, I have the right programs installed and a new laptop. Despite this, I suddenly noticed today that the CD drive wouldn't open (I then luckily could open it with a paper clip) but what worries me more is that the CD-rom drive won't do anything when there is a CD inside. It doesn't recognise any of my CDs or DVDs. There is a light flashing constantly on the drive. The drive has always started playing automatically so I'm sure this is some sort of a problem in the drive, not because of the correct programs are lacking. Any suggestions what I could do in order to fix this? Thank you so much in advance!
