playing pc games?i want to know because i want a pc for that but im not sure if its good for that but i play like pc games like 3 times a week for like 2 hours i jus want a comp to play games once in awile

Yeah it's a good one but you'll need to get a monitor separately, I suggest an LCD from http://www.newegg.com/

It's decent. But just that. first of think about the fact that the processor Intel and AMD has always been the gaming icon. Also the vid card will start to struggle a bit sooner than you think so try getting an ATI x1600xt at least or even better a Nvidia 7800GTX. If you're a casual gamer you could live with the configuration for a while but the video card will bug you( and that's a promise)

Yeah that should be a pretty good system for most gaming. The one thing it's kinda lacking in is video card though. The 7300LE is a pretty cheap video card for what the other components are. The system might struggle somewhat w/ demanding games.

go with an amd athlon 64 x2 processor for gaming.
wd 74 gb 10000k rpm hard drive.
at least a geforce 7600.

Can't say I like HP as I have had probs with them and their high $$$ replacement parts. eg. power supply $250+

i would use alienware because first its a hell of good pc gaming computer i heard
