Can any body tell me how long is the replacable warranty period for a Seagate 80 GB barracuda Hard Disk? I have purchased it on 06.04.2006. Can i get a brand new hard disk from Seagate if my hard disk makes problem now?

It can be anywhere from 1-3 years. If you have the serial number of the drive, you may be able to contact Seagate to determine how long of a warranty you have left.

Replace? They are in business. They will provide you with a repaired HDD after procrastinations

One year from the date of purchase,yes you need your receipt.
