Thank you everyone who helped me get this far. But I was sent to http://www.microsoft.com/athome/moredone/wirelesssetup.mspx#step1 and I followed the instructions. Now it says put in a password/username. Where is it? It's not on the box or any of the papers. There are barely any but it's still not there.

This happened before on my laptop and I cannot get it to play any of the newer shows. I never fixed the problem and watched it on my other computer. Now the same problem is happening on this computer 3 months later. It just plays the NBC logo and then trys to connect and says can't retrieve the video. Why would it do this on one computer but not the other and then suddenly do it to the other. Thanks

For a small business, which is more practical: storing company files on a shared drive accessible to all computers, or having a server that holds all company files and programs? A little about my company: There are three computers that are used daily. It is currently set up with a shared drive that all three computers can access, but all programs (like quickbooks, office, etc.) have to be installed on each computer. The problems that we have been having are things like files from the shared drive getting moved to an individual computer, files getting deleted altogether, and programs opening files that are not on the shared drive, but are saved on individual computers. I don't know if switching to a server would alleviate these things, or if it would be worth the expense of switching. If switching to a server doesn't make sense, what other options are there? Thanks!

My landlord updated his virus software which then wasn't allowing my laptop to connect to his internet connection. So he asked me for my IP address and said he needed it to allow my laptop to re-connect to his wireless router.

I want to be able to host friend / small business domains on my server for hosting. On my Ubuntu (LAMP) server, Bind9 was installed by default. Does this mean that I (after properly configuring bind) will be able to be used as a name server for domain hosting?

I have installed this but everytime i power off -on, i have to re-enter my wep key, is there anyway i can get the adapter to store the settings?
I am fairly useless at technical stuff so any answers will have to be quite basic.
I have checked with my isp and the fault appears to be with the adapter.
Thank you

Search results are loaded with hosting for beginners. I am looking for a host that can stand 10000 visits/day, and keep a steady bandwidth.
Is there any directory/community that deals with professional hosting providers?

Specifically I am talking about a PHP based hosting in the USA, Apache server preferred.
