So, under start>settings>network connections>local area connections, and under properties, what settings do i need to enable/install? currently i have client for microsft windows, file and printer sharing, and internet protocol (tcp/ip) enabled. These settings work fine on my home network, but not on the one i am trying to set up at work. I created a work group, turned on file sharing on the desired folders and ran the network wizard all to no avail. My network config. is as follows.
5 p.c.'s (no server), hooked up to a netopia modem/router that is both hard wire and wireless. Since it only has 4 ports the wireless function comes in handy! ITS driving me NUTTS!

I need a really good wireless reciever for my Xbox 360. I have been having trouble connecting to my wireless network because my 360 is on a different floor than the Wireless router. I need a wireless Reciever that will plug in via ethernet port. Cost is not an issue. I have tried buying stronger antennae for my router, and have moved as many obstacles as possible, but still, no connection. I am using the official Xbox 360 wireless reciever but it isn't good enough.

I have a D-Link Wireless-G Print Server. I had it all set up, but then, I tried to change its IP from the default 192.168.0.10 to 192.0.0.0, and it no longer works. I can't access it from my browser, as I used to be able to, and, for whatever reason, the reset button is not restoring the factory settings. What should I do?

I'm wondering if there is a way to add multi KVMs to a single computer/server. The idea is that there would be sort of dummy terminals, minus a computer for each KVM. Each KVM would essentially be able to individually run a program and interact with it. Any ideas on any hardware or software that accomplishes this?

My boyfriend was trying to set up a network from my old machine that has XP to the the new one with vista, but something is blocking it. You could see the old machine, but for whatever reason some kind of message about having a blank password keeps coming up. Is anyone else having this problem and how do you fix it? Thanks!

I'm on a local satellite network and always have a connection of 100mb/s, now all of a sudden I'm not receiving any data and webpages won't load even though it still says connected. When I check on the status it's still sending data it's just not receiving anything or loading any webpages. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Is this something that the administrator controlling the switch may have done? I suspect this may have been done in order to speed up the connection of others, but I'd like to educate myself before accusing anyone of anything. Thanks for any help.

I have only one PC and one Wii that I want to hook up to the internet. They are no less than 10 feet from each other, so I don't want to go wireless. Where can I get a reliable cheap Ethernet router to hook up the PC and Wii (assuming I buy a Ethernet adapter for the Wii) with my DSL connection? Links would be great

Is there a program where I can set policies for users on my computer to effect other computers. I don't want to go to a computer, set policies, then save it and go to the next. I want a program, so that I dont need to do that. I would go on my computer, all the other computers(clients) will be pointed to my computer for the latest configuration, and then set policies, save, and it will save on all other computers. Any programs??

There has to be a program! All this technology. Please throw in some help.
