CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW MANY IP WE CAN GIVE A SINLE LAN CARD?

If you go to network connections TCP/IP settings and click advanced you can add as many as you need. Servers quite often have mulitple IP's configured.

Only one IP # per network adapter. A network can operate with a card with one MAC address having more than one IP#. That's like your cellphone having two or three different phone numbers. You can dual home a computer by placing two network cards in it, but only one card can connect to a single network at any one time.

As many as you like .... if you have DHCP Disabled

goto TCPIP in Connection Properties then click advanced...

The first list is of all the addresses bound with that network card....
