Q: "my dell computer will not find my wireless belkin router but works if i wire it to it ? any reason why?"
===

Interestingly enough, I had wireless detection problems earlier today. I made some restarts, but never actually turned the computer off. You may want to try that.

Are other computers accessing the same wireless access point? If not, cut the power to them as well. Wait a good time, and then power it all back up.

It worked for me. I was beginning to think my router was shot, but after the power off, the connection was there!
