why is IP routing not enabled and how do i enable it

If you are talking about your router then IP Routing is automatic. If your really talking about automatic IP assigning to computers then make sure the DHCP server in the router is enabled and that should be that.

Ip routing is not enabled on what? You need to provide more info. You could mean your pc, router, unix workstation, etc.

Are you talking about your router? If so you have to browse into it and chage the settings. Let us know and which type of router.
If its a router connected to your broadband modem you don't wnat routing anyway, you want it set to gateway. Unless your trying to d something differnt. Just guessing here.
