The internet for my company goes through one main server. It won't let me log on to myspace and gives me an access is denied page. My question is, is there any way to get around this??????

Yes. But as it involves going through a proxy server, which would open your companies computers to attack by that server, infection by viruses, possible data loss or theft, etc., doing so is normally an offense for which you will be fired. You could also find yourself facing civil fines or criminal charges.

I can guarantee you that the computer support person(s) at your company monitor for such activity, and will report it immediately. Your companies firewall keeps a complete list of every site you visit, how long you were there, what pictures you looked at, every message or e-mail you typed. etc. (I do this for a living). That information is monitor on a regular basis. It can (and will) be used as grounds to terminate your employment.

I have worked in the IT business for over 15 years, and see this happen every day.

I would not recommend it. Your company likely has a reason for blocking this. If you bypass this by going to a common proxy server that may be logged. No guarantee, but you could get in trouble.

go through a proxy server....www.vtunnel.com and then type in the web adress you want to go to.
