I have broadband through NTL (now Virgin Media) but we are not on cable, instead it is just through our BT line. Was told by PC World I needed a certain type of router for NTL (DSL?) but I think they assumed I was on cable - can I just get a 'normal' router. Can anyone recommend one?

I have a desktop computer, with 2 wireless network cards in it. Will this give me better speed when connecting to the internet? Also, what does the "Bridge Connections" option in the Network Control Panel do? Does it tie these 2 cards together so it looks like one faster card to the computer? Thanks!
