Well the most common pro is no wires, no tangled wires no tripping on wires. And it makes my job and other techs a lot easier. And there would be less chance of electrical fire, which is a growing problem because so many homes have electronics. Well, not a big one but we won't hurt the environment by digging up earth, I live in a very sensitive environment. if companies would work together you can have free wireless connections anywhere you go like at parks, hiking trails, boating, driving, virtually anywhere; this is already taking place in your big cities like LA and NY, you can be anywhere and get a connection. The entire world can be connected into a huge network which believe it or not will increase relations with countries. Instead of just have a community with people in your country you can bring 5 countries together in a group so people can resolve issues around the world.

A most common con which is getting better is loosing signal or hope you even get one. An increase threat of someone hacking into your TV,internet, phones, anything wireless device in your home can be hacked. Or someone could get free internet by bouncing off your signal and with some providers will knock up your bill; which is also being resolved with corporations and secretly by your governments and I don't mean just the U.S.

Future is large Wireless community networks

The biggest pro is mobility. You also have less wires running all over the place. The cons are it's short range, it's ability to be interupted by other signals and physical obstructions, and it's ability to be intercepted by other people. You need to have it encrypted so that other people don't intercept any sensitive data or steal your internet bandwidth. It will happen too, my friend is mooching off his neighbors signal.
