I was looking around one day and I came across these Sun computers. There are servers, notebooks, and desktops. How good are these systems? If they're really good, then why aren't they advertised? I also saw the Sun e15k server up for sale for over $65000. Are these systems the best of the best?

Would anyone mind telling me what the features and services of a LAN (Local Area Network) and a WAN (WIde Area Network) are.

If anyone can help me, they'll have my thanks and of course 10 points.

My wireless signal is Low-Good range, so I got this range expander for $100. It worked like a DREAM... 5 bars, full connectivity. Then one day, ANY time I have the range expander plugged in the connectivity is limited or none. I unplug the range expander and poof, connectivity but at low-good strength. I don't understand why it worked like a charm and now it doesn't. I'm on a 802.11g unsecured network.

I have been perfectly operating within a network of about 12 computers. I now need to provide internet service to a friend whose house is just about 170 meters away from my office. What is the ideal way to achieve this because i learnt that the moderate distance for a networked computer should be within 100 meters. I look forward to some quick answers please.

It is on my broadband network wirelessly, so both computers are on line - just need to marry them for the sake of having a shared folder. Anyone got a walk through way to do this?

I have unlimited package with bsnl broad band connection with D-link ADSL 2+ router.

I have also linked my connection with VOIP (VONAGE). At the initial stage everything was ok. After 2days I hv been disconnected while talking to others using voip. And there was no problem while receiving the call using voip. I dont know the settings in both router and gateway.

So anybody here to help out to resolve this problem. Its very urgent.

I hve been looking at a Wi-fi device for my computer - it's quite cheap, about £20, and looks like a USB port memory stick and comes with installation disks. I want something which will allow wi-fi access for a PSP as well as the PS3 when it comes out, and also a laptop computer. This device claims to do all three. I think it's 54Mbps.

I was reading some reviews on line and there are lots of people claiming they've had problems getting this kind of wi-fi to work with AOL. Is this the case? Opinions would be much appreciated.

Cheers.
