I have unlimited package with bsnl broad band connection with D-link ADSL 2+ router.

I have also linked my connection with VOIP (VONAGE). At the initial stage everything was ok. After 2days I hv been disconnected while talking to others using voip. And there was no problem while receiving the call using voip. I dont know the settings in both router and gateway.

So anybody here to help out to resolve this problem. Its very urgent.

Let me see if I understand...you are in India and have ADSL. After 40 seconds when you make a call using vonage, the call is disconnected. If you receive a call, everything is fine.

If the above is correct, I would first call BSNL and ask if they have any restrictions against, and therefore block outbound Vonage calls. If they offer their own voip, they may do this.

You may also log into your vonage adapter - not your router - from your PC and look at the statistics and error log. Go to vonage help on how to do this. This will give you a much better clue where the problem is.

Lastly, try pinging your DNS on your PC while the call is up to see if there are any dropouts.

Good luck.
