I know the instructions that came with my portable phone recommend keeping the base in a room other than where a wireless computer is located. Think about it, a portable phone and its base form a wireless connection. Your wireless computer equiment may also be working on a 2.4Ghz frequency. Check the instructions that came with those things.
Try checking with where you bought your computer equipment, they may have a solution.

You should probably switch to an "interference-free" phone, one that operates over 5 ghz. You can move the phone to a different location, but even that might not help. A higher gain antenna may help for your router or desktop.
Also, you may be able to change the "channel" that your wireless network is operating on. Moving it significantly up or down the range may help improve performance.

Interesting, your phone disrupts your signal.
To be honest with you, this is the first time I've heard this one. I have heard that there is interference between the devices; but that can usually be corrected by moving either the phone base or the router itself to a different location.
My first question to you is ...how strong is your net signal? Second question, are both devices close to each other?
Wish I could offer some help.

Because Wireless and your phone both use the 2.4GHZ frequency, this is common.
Buy a 5.8GHZ phone or unplug the one you have while surfing. Got an old 900MHZ phone? It will fix your problem too.
