My wireless signal is Low-Good range, so I got this range expander for $100. It worked like a DREAM... 5 bars, full connectivity. Then one day, ANY time I have the range expander plugged in the connectivity is limited or none. I unplug the range expander and poof, connectivity but at low-good strength. I don't understand why it worked like a charm and now it doesn't. I'm on a 802.11g unsecured network.

Limited or no connectivity almost always means that the computer is dropping the ip address. See if while you have the expander plugged in if you can repair the Wireless connection by going to ....if you have Windows XP...START---CONTROL PANEL---SWITCH TO CLASSIC VIEW----NETWORK CONNECTIONS----then right click on the wireless network and choose repair. if that doesn't work see if the expander has a reset button or powercycle it.

it sounds like a setting has been changed, channel/frequency network name etc, i would check the management settings for all wireless components
