I have an Acer compute and a Nokia mobile phone. I can't connect the two. I want to "bluetooth" my text, addressbook etc to my computer.
They both have bletooth......... Any idea why my computer will not "search"

Are you using the Nokia PC Suite?...
I had great difficulties initially but perseveered and was successful. make sure you use the latest level of PC Suite - available at Nokia website.

you must not have the right connector for the computer if they both have the bluetooth capabilities. did the store that you got your bluetooth hardware from tell you that they would work together?

depends on what bluetooth software you are using. if using blue soleil ( http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/index.asp?topic=bluesoleil_edr )which is one of the most popular just click on the orange circle in the center. this will search for your devices. when it find the device you want to transfer to click file transfer, then drag the files to the transfer list on the right, then click transfer.
