there is a scenario. host A is connected to a switch S, and switch B is connected to a host C. just like this: A----switch---B. A sends a message to host C through switch S. switch S delivers this message to B. when B receives this message, is the source MAC address A's? does switch S attach its own MAC address to this message without changing the source and destination MAC address?

I want to be able to use the internet with a portable device (Nintendo DS, to be specific) but don't really want to buy a router just for that. My computer has a wireless card in it, I was wondering if it was possible (through special software or even Windows, I have XP) to create an access point with it. I'm not even sure if it's possible, but thanks in advance for any info!

Oh, and *please* don't say, "Just buy a router, you can get them for $20."

Thanks!
