NIc cards in all devices, be they printer, PC, server etc. Cabling if not wireless and a hub, switch, or router if you're connecting more than 2 devices..

for wireless network you must have a router and a call port or small internet connection antennae thats all ut if you want wire you have to have a router and alot of cord.

a router and a nic card in each machine then run the network wizard on each machine ..
