In DOS, how can I ping every host in my subnet in one command?

Question

I have a couple of hosts in my subnet that I can't remember their IP's. So I want to ping every host in the subnet without having to use the ping command 255 times.

impossible via dos well that i know of since u can set a ip range to ping.
i would use 1 of these programs
