I have a Win2003 Server network using domain, dhcp, active dir, with linksys 18 port 10/100 switch and a dozen winxp pro clients. There is a huge network slowdown around 5 pm causing freezes and slowdowns and occasionally crashes. It doesn't seem to be related to any software we're running as different people use different software. All machines are patched and updated, have top of the line components, and are relatively new. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Like going to the Advice Central Chat Room, Seeking advice but getting nothing but head lines that say 13 year old girl will trade pics. Or hot 18/m looking for the ladies. Can we not get rid of this non sense. It is very pointless to people who are actually looking for a nice down to earth chat with other people with commen intrests.

Can already connect from other PC running ME, so no problems with hardware or broadband. On XP install I cannot access Voyager Home page either by url or ip address. I'm using a Belkin USB wireless adaptor - message says PC has no network name, but the XP repair fails. I've checked the settings on the PC that works but as far as I can see they are the same. I recall that there was a similar problem setting up the originalE connection which was resolved when I set up 128 character WEP encryption , but this doesn't seem to make any difference
