Dont wanna use any third party software. I was thinking if I have two LAN cards connected to my system and this system acts as a gateway, how would I configure the same

You would need to use a router (not a cheap SOHO one but something like a Cisto 2800 series) to bond the connections, either for load sharing or failover.

Do note that you will likely have problems sharing connections from separate ISPs unless you use it for failover only. If you want to use it for load sharing, you'll need to use two connections from the same ISP and you'll have to let the ISP know that you will be load sharing with the two circuits.
