Computer Networking - August 2006

To quote the site "This program enables you to acquire certification for CompTIA A+ and Security+, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)". That's just 3 certificates. The program is $21k and 1 year. I got an email from an employer stating it would not qualify me for a job I was interested in with him and it would only get me about $12-15 an hour. That's pretty discouraging. Anyone think different? Otherwise I'll probably become an electrician.

I have an office with 1 port connecting that office to the company's network. I have 2 desks in that office with only 1 computer connected at the moment. I want to put another computer on the 2nd desk and have it connected to the company's network. How can I pull this off while having each computer with it's own IP address and what are specific hardware I should use.

hi ! I am presently doing A level from doeacc and graduation from DELHI UNIVERSITY.after that i am planning to take courses like CCNA and MCSE. I don't want to go in softwares and core development field.i don't want to pursue MCA. so,is there any masters course after that i can think of good career in this field.Is MBA a good option ,but which trade in MBA i should prefer to get in?Is MBA a good option for good career ,or are there some other courses ,which i may consider.what will be my career after that.i am so confused.plz help.

I have a laptop on which when you boot windows the Network connection can take up to 5min to show up, am talking about the little icon in the taskbar that shows there is a LAN connection and there is no connectivity until it shows up. Everything else loads very quickly its just the network.

I have a motorola L7 mobile. There is also a facility to connect internet in pc through my moblie. The mobile is blue tooth enabled. I have also blue tooth dongle . What should i do next to connect internet through mobile? I have also a data cable usb port.

Ocasionally i have an opensource p2p Hub with UB's Big *** Bot v2.27 RC4... But from yesterday all users that are trying to connect to its service name (eg. glace.no-ip.info) are redirected to another hub (eg trance.no-ip.info).
Still, they can connect to my hub by my ip. And local hublist shows only my hub with its "old" name.
I'm puzzled ... Can anyone one give a tip of what's hapening and how it is done?
