make sure u select the G
this is compatible with a 54mbps/108mbps router
get a card that is G capable too
if your card is a B and u havea router is a G u can never get more than 11mbps
so upgrade ur card
u can also get a Proxim AP700 state of the art access point to increase ur coverage
