No, not at all.

I don't have a degree but do have a CCNA (among other certs) and make nearly 6 figures with a number of years of IT experience. Only one of the folks on my team has a degree. Everyone on the team is in the mid 5-figure range or better.

There are far more IT jobs than there are degreed candidates to fill them. Nearly all employers that specify a degree as a requirement also accept equivalent experience, usually on a one-to-one basis.

NO! Of course you don't. Anyone can get a Cisco certification these days. Of course it helps if you have some experience and working knowledge.I've done CCNA.CCNP and hope to get CCIE next year and only got 2 'O' levels!
Believe me there are hundreds of IT companies out there desperate to emply people who have network knowledge and the pay is really good if you get the right one in the right part of the country.

Yes, but your choices will be limited unless backed up with a couple of years relavant experience. A good option is to try and get a placement with a company whilst or after you train. Probably unpaid but will look good on your cv or resume when applying for a first cicso job

No. Degree helps. People that have degrees really don't like paying good money for those who don't- that's true anywhere. Exception to the rule- older people with tons of experience that get alot of things done.

Probably, all depends upon what the employer has set as being required in order to get the job.

Technically no, but good luck finding a company that will hire you without one!
