Network Connection slow to start?

Question

I have a laptop on which when you boot windows the Network connection can take up to 5min to show up, am talking about the little icon in the taskbar that shows there is a LAN connection and there is no connectivity until it shows up. Everything else loads very quickly its just the network.

Its not the ip thing. all computers have to connect with auto ip, its only this one that is slow.

maybe ur ip option is .. AUTOMATICLY TAKE IP ADDRESS ... and if ur conx is not that good .. it takes too much time .. for a server to give u an ip .. u can use a fixe IP ... which is faster ..
