Hi I have a Window98(with a DVD ROM installed with ultra speed) yeah I'm getting a new one and I'm going to be trading it in with a man who fix computers and build them. I'm going to get the newest and THAT'S why I wanted to know with a Window98 having a performace status of
Memory:384.0MB of RAM
system Resources: 38%
File system:32-bit
Virtual memory:32-bit
Is Good or half decent so that when I get my new one it will save a couple of bucks when I do the trading!
My computer seems to be working ok but I would like to be updated to the new versions!

I can't find the size of this card. I know the 3870 will not fit in my computer, i'm wondering if it's just the width or both the length and width. I have a Dell E510. looked everywhere online for dimensions on video cards and found nothing just references to long cards. if anyone currently has this card NOT Diamond brand (as all my references put this brand as crap), and can physically meausre card, as far as length and height I will give the first person with an honest answer the best answer vote. Please help i am between ordering this card which i want and an older HD2900 XT, just due to size alone.

Can I delete it from my registry without problems? I've just been having errors on it and I wanted to know what it does since deleting it seems like it would cause another problem. I'm just making sure before I try to fix it.

I recently noticed I have no sound on my computer anymore. The following is what shows up when I try to play my music: Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly. Why is it saying this? Someone please help!

some one claims to not have received an item i sent, and sent me a dispute email via paypal. The computer right now has a gigabyte 8I945P-G motherboard, and Intel Pentium D processor. What are some CPU that would be better than the current one and compatible with the motherboard?

i'm just trying to make a MySpace account and it won't work.....I type in everything it tells me to (EVERYTHING!!!) and then it even goes to the captcha thing (where it shows you the jumbled letterss and makes you type them out to "prove you're not a computer") then it goes right back to Step 1 and says "We’re sorry. Based on the information you have submitted to us, you are ineligible to register on MySpace.com."

some very odd things are happening to my computer at the moment.
First of all, the text on the screen has got really big...how do i get it back to normal again??
Also, i pressed a few buttons, and god knows how it happened, but my toolbar on my desktop has gone to the top of the screen instead of the bottom!!

I just got a 22" LCD monitor and have an nVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT graphics card. When I play in max resolution on Call of Duty 4, it is a lot slower than playing in my old 17" monitor's resolution. I'd like to play max resolution for the graphics not to be terrible but what needs to be upgraded? My graphics card? If so, what is a top of the line graphics card at an affordable price?

I'm playing in 1280x1024 resolution in the game but I'd like to go to 1680x1050 for the best looking graphics, but don't want the lag.

if you go up to tools and then internet options and press clear history can the administrator still access all the stuff you deleted... If the administrator can see it is there a way to fix it so the deleted history cannot be seen at all?

ok. so i asked this before: none of my media players work. i play my songs and they stay at 0:00 seconds. some one on yahoo answers told me to download a codec pack. i did but i have no idea what to do with it, and do not know how that is suppose to fix my media players.(help!)

and also, just today, i played some of my songs on vlc player. it didn't stay at 0:00 seconds but the little bar moved as its suppose to. however no sound came out. and no, there's nothing wrong with the speaker itself bc i can still play songs and videos on the internet.

When i turn the mic volume up using skype or ventrilo, i get severe feedback. I used the mic on another computer and it worked fine. I have updated sound drivers...what do you think the issue could be/do you need more information like a dxdiag or something?
