Hello, please help i got an email from services@paypal.servers.net and it said "We are currently performing regular maintenance of our security measures. Your account has been randomly selected for this maintenance, and you will now be taken through a series of identity verification pages." and then said "Click here to verify your account " did not have to put any user or password in or anything page just poped up and it says "This Account Has Been Suspended" but when i log into my paypal account it dosent say anything about this? What does this mean any help would be great thanks.

If I was to reformat my laptop's hard drive, would the CD drive still work (or the drives on my desktop computer if I reformatted it)? and if not, how would you reinstall it? Also, how do you reformat it without starting Windows?

its not the newest thing but its a 1.5ghz pentium 4, 128mb, windows xp pro sp2. i turn on the computer and it loads everything, it then restarts once it gets to the desktop screen

Windows XP is able to use most older Windows programs, games, etc. Does Microsoft plan to fix Vista so it will be compatible with XP & older software? Or do they just expect us to scrap everything we had & start over?

AMD Turion64x2
NVIDIA GEforce 7150
it plays call of duty4 with good quality but when the game starts it lags and lags more when alot of action is going on what can i do to fix it

Suddenly it became screen black outs, unresponsive to recovery solutions including system restore or recovery partition back up. The recovery disk from hp support couldn't make it work too. Hardware checks ok on diagnostics. Is it vista, the laptop or a virus?

I've written a code in while loop that finds all occurences of a string in a text. Works great, but now I want to stop the loop at the end, because on each cycle it finds a given string and highlites it in the text. So I want it to stop so that user sees every instance and let him continue by pressing the key. Im sure it can be done, but don't know how.

I am trying to make a program using Visual Basic 2008 express edition, that would allow the user to enter in a search word and the program would then return any matching results from an Access database.

I can't figure out how to make it so that the query searches based on what the user has typed in say.. TextBox1. I have tried several variations of code.

For example:

SELECT...
FROM...
WHERE column1 = TextBox1.Text

and

WHERE column1 = "TextBox1.Text"

and

WHERE column1 = '& TextBox1.Text &'

and even

WHERE column1 = '" & TextBox1.Text & "'"

Depending on how I try to write it, it will either come up blank, or will tell me "No value given for one or more required parameters."

Is there some way I can write this differently so it does the search using whatever is in TextBox1? If not, what else can I do that would give me the same results?

ok well, i just finished writing a paper i kind of needed for school. for some reason or another, i got off subject while taking a myspace survey and ended up writing it there. so then i thought, to heck with this i don't need a survey for my paper so i just copied the paper part. well, turns out my computer is old and a piece of crap so it immediately "forgot" that i copied the paper when i exed out of the window and it won't let me paste it anywhere. is there anything i can do to get the paper back? i haven't copied anything since.

I have a netgear rangemax wnr834bv2 wireless router wired to a dell desktop. I have the connection encrypted and all that set up. Wireless reception is good until i get to the bedroom. I read about getting a second wnr834b as a repeater so im considering doing that. Problem is....reading the instructions....it looks like i need to have the second router wired to another pc in order to be programmed as a repeater. i looked everywhere on the desktop for this particular set up screen but couldnt find it. The screen that allows me to set up the repeater. So my question is.....Does anyone have any knowledge and experience with this thing. How exactly do i set this thing up? Thanks

I want some decent protection on my new Dell laptop as i use the wireless connection some times in public places.

I was planning to go for OneCare, but Microsoft told that the subscription isn't available for my country.....I had this program for 90 day trial on my pc and really liked it!

So any other suggestions????
I kow about most of antivirus programs like BitDefender, Kaspersky, PC-Cillin, and CA...but I need some thing light as I have only 1GB of ram.

Not sure, but think it is a pirate version, got the computer from a friend. Excel 2007 worked fine for about 2 months now everything in the menu is not lit up and when you move around to the different boxes it just won't allow me to enter anything. It still will import stuff so I can read things. By the way, I hate everything about Microsoft Word 2007. I want to go back to an older version.

I have a imac G5 that i bought about two years ago and i am currently running Mac OS X 10.4, however when I insert the disk and restart the computer nothing happens. It just goes to a blank screen?! Does this happen a lot and/or is there something that I am doing wrong?? Please help!
