I`ve just installed the above. It works ok it`s just that I cant get it to fill the screen at the top. I`ts about an inch short,I can drag it upwards about half inch and thats it. Now I know theres someone out there who can tell me what to do, so thanks in advance

If I'm using my new MacBook with leopard at home, is the best battery concious choice to run the laptop while plugged in or run it of battery? Whats the best method?

I've been told that if I'm to use the power adapter for extended periods, I should take the battery out, but is this safe?

i subscribed to bullguard internet security 9 months ago for a year. Now it says my firewall needs reinstalling but to do this i need to download a 2month free trial or take out another subsciption for a year (even though i have another 3months left). I tried the live support, where you can talk to technicians and they said this is what i have to do.
I tried emailing bullguard to find out if there were any other options and, even though they have an hour email return policy i still have not received a reply
what can i do?

Today i have bought creative 5.1 surround speakers and a saitek st290 pro what do u think of them and 1 other thing i have orderd a geforce 8500gt do u think its rubbish or good ? plz name the games that its rubbish on as i am not a hardcore gamer who plays bioshock and gears of war but i do play a lot of games like test drive COD4 how will the card get on with normal games ?

Playing mpg:
ATI Player-no sound
MP10- error "At least one of the pins involved in operation is already connected"
MP Classic- can't d/l compressor, fails same as MP10
GSPOT "MPEG-1 Layer 2" codec is missing.
Experts only...no try this try that. Expect something in register is screwed. Codec is in quartz.dll which is on system and checked valid (same as on another computer that plays OK). GSPOT reports ac3filer.acm is missing but it's not missing (in system32). Problem happened about 4 months ago when updating ATI 9600 drivers (ATI is useless). Not sure how codecs as used/found. CODEC INSTALLER doesn't SPECIFICALLY show MPEG-1 Layer 2.

I want to get a laptop and I made the one i want on dell.com. It was a Dell Inspiron 1420 and the total was $989 with : 1 GB Hard drive, 120 memory, cd and dvd writer, high speed wireless card and it was 14.1 screen.

i found this laptop on circuit city and its a sony.

which laptop is better to buy? i mean the Sony one has double gb (the dell has 1 gb the sony has 2 gb and the memory is 200 gb in the song). is sony better than dell and is it reliable for like 3-5 years?

Okay so, the other day someone accidently installed spyshedder on my dell laptop. for to days i worked on getting rid of it eventually downloading superantispyware which seems to work. but now i have a list of problems i noticed that may have been a result of spyshedder:
every dvd i put in skips no matter how much i clean them, the tabs on my internet explorer has disappeared and i'm unable to get to them clicking file button, i'm unable to change my desktop background using the mouse right click and properties. the option isn't even there. to top it off when i click with the right button, the options listed are only a couple. it seems like i can upload online pics as a background but it doesn't let me put any of my own pics as backgrounds do it. If anyone can help let me know. by the way i have windows xp. Please and thank you!

The maim differences are as follows:
One has a Core 2 Duo 2.3 GHz, 677 FSB & 256MB NVidia 7400 Turbocache video card.
The other has Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, 800FSB & Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with 358 MB DVMT (Dynamic Video Memory Technology)
Both have 4GB of ram.

Somebody knows my information for when you click "forgot ID or password" and frequently changes my password, then goes in and deletes all the contacts from my messenger and changes the passwords and everything. i get automatically signed out like every 5 minutes because of someone signing in with my screen name on another computer. when i sign back in with a changed password, all my contacts have been deleted and people ask me why i said things i didnt say. what can i do to stop this? how do i report it to yahoo or someone??? i have no clue who could be doing this to me or why they are doing it!

I have never touched my virtual memory before and ive heard that i can make it use a lot more, my minimum sayd 756 mb and the maximum is 1512mb.
