I'm trying to upload a 16th chapter onto my fanfiction.net account. I have 15 chapters within my story and trying to upload the 16th. But it won't let me... it says this:

"Document Limit Reached
--------------------------------------...
You have reached the 15 document limit. Please convert you existing documents to stories and/or chapters before uploading more."

Which doesn't make sense considering other's people's stories have 16, 24, etc chapters.

So how do I fix this?

Well I built a new computer (well, out of old parts, just new power supply and added 1gb of RAM) .
I put a Pentium 4 2.8ghz processor in, and it seems to be set at 2.1ghz. It shows like this...

Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.8ghz
2.09ghz, 1.00 GB of RAM

I went into bios, but it won't let me edit the CPU speed at all, it's locked or something.

Or, is that showing the ghz of the RAM??

I was transfering some pictures from my camera and then I started organizing them in folders. As I was dragging some pictures to a folder which contained more photos, suddely all my folders disappeared ( I had 5-6 folders with pictures). Now they're all gone and I can't find them anywhere. There are only two folders left in Pictures and they're both empty. I tried everything, from system restore to recovery program...and nothing! I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista.
I am desperate and I need all the help I could get! I should mention that this is not the first time this is happening with Windows Vista as I had the same problem with some videos, they disappeared while I was trying to transfer them on my external memory and I was not able to find them anymore.

Okay... My computer's REALLY crappy. It's even lagging as I type this. It's supposed to be a Windows 98 as it says but I have Windows XP on it. When I start it up it gives me a few choices-- Safe Modes or Start Windows normally. This used to not happen when I first got it for free from my Dad's friend until 2 months later or so. I think I have around 126 Ram, It's hard to get ram in because it's very tight and small but I do have ram I could add in. I don't have much money (63 dollars and 19 cents) and I'm too young for a job but I'm saving up to get a laptop. I mostly like making Amvs and playing Furcadia, But what do you guys think I should do? Live with it and use Safe Mode with Networking like I always do? Or try Windows 98 on it? xP Orr... Bug my Dad to take things out and add in ram?

I have windows vista. I do a lot of work with pictures and when I have a folder open, windows explorer crashes when I try to cut folders so i can put them somewhere else. Why does it keep crashing?

DD-WRT micro generic - V23 SP2
everything is fine, but i wanted to upgrade to a newer firmware
theres v24 and Eko has one also on www.dd-wrt.com

Ok... I was running windows 2000... and just upgraded to XP... i have a Dlink router between one computer and mine. The downstairs computer has a the main router and mine has the card. When i downloaded XP everything was erased and my internet went away because i have to reinstall the dlink drivers and stuff. But i have no CD i cannot find it anywhere in my house.. i have a compaq presario laptop that is about 4 years old. althought it runs great, i am looking to hopefully get rid of some of the stuff i don't need to help it run faster and hopefully solve some little problems. some problems i have are when it does a CPU intensive thing (say opening photoshop or using many programs at once) the fans get loud and fast and it spits out a ton of heat. i also have a problem where if there are no wireless internets for the wireless to connect to, it takes forever for windows to start. it can also do some wierd things on sites like espn.com. for instance, if i scroll over different sports at the top, it keeps the drop down menu open after i am no longer over that spot with my mouse. i am pretty good at keeping hte computer clean and keeping open programs at a minimum. thanks for any ideas on how to clean up some little things on the computer that might help with the bigger problems.

I just got a Dell Inspiron 1501 and downloaded PC Wizard to check the temperatures. It gives me this list:
Processor: ~37C
Processor Core 1: ~50's
Processor Core 2: ~50's
ACPI Thermal Zone: ~37

Why is it giving me three processor readings? It has an AMD Turion 64 x2 in it, but I don't understand what that first processor temp reading is supposed to be. The average of the two cores? If so why is it so much lower?

Also are these temperatures ok? It gets pretty warm sitting on my lap sometimes.

Hey all I was researching around Yahoo Answers and found that some laptops(or desktops can't quite remember) with integrated graphics cards can also hold a discrete graphics card . Once i learned that i was instantly excited and researched the hell out of my laptop(in title) and couldn't find anything about PCI or any thing like that. I Scan my system with free version of AVG 7.5. It shows Trojan horse Generic9.AAVL at C:\Windows\system32\dsound3.dll. and removes it.or heals it. even after restarting my computer it again surfaces and AVG detacts it.

I was on my laptop earlier and all of a sudden it turned off i took out the battery and then put it back and it said the computer was charging i pressed the power button and nothing happened and the light that said it was charging turned off what could it be.
