Hey all I was researching around Yahoo Answers and found that some laptops(or desktops can't quite remember) with integrated graphics cards can also hold a discrete graphics card . Once i learned that i was instantly excited and researched the hell out of my laptop(in title) and couldn't find anything about PCI or any thing like that. So my question is does my laptop have an extra graphics card slot?

Toshiba Satellite P205-S7402
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5250 1.5 ghz
2 g ram
Intel Graphics media accelerator X3100

p.s Is my laptop good enought to play games like Rome total war or medieval total war? just wondering since those games look pretty good.

thank you

darn, i just researched some more around here and found that laptops can only have mini pci slots and there are no graphics cards out there for those kinds. If you can prove me wrong please do it.

i checked the user guide like thehumbleone said to and couldn't find anything bout slots except memory slots, and express card slots. so my best bet now is just buy another stick of memory to increase my gaming a a little right ?(it has an extra memory slot)

Why are you looking here? Your Toshiba should have come with a User's Guide which includes specifications. I have a Toshiba Satellite and have copied the User's Guide to the desktop for quick reference.

You can also go directly to Toshiba for help. Just have your Model and Serial Number ready.

Laptops are not designed to be upgraded like that. Laptops are packed *very* tightly. whether there is an further slot on the motherboard, there probable won't in any respect be room interior the case. and whether there is room interior the case, you probable won't have the airflow had to burn up the greater desirable warmth, so which you will fry the laptop.
