i am trying to build a computer with 2 cd drives and 1 audio cord. and also, all of these parts are really old, and my audio card has 1 port for internal audio in. is a thing to combine the 2 audio outs in 1 cord?

The audio cord is only used for analog audio. It's not necessary for digital audio.

The only problem you'll have is that you can only play CDs on one drive using analog audio. You can, however, play CDs on both drives using digital audio.

This has no affect on games or other software.

Hi. Most cables will support a Master and Slave drive. Set the jumpers on the back to MA and SL. Radio Shack may have the audio cable adapter you need.
