adobe photoshop is better. Jasc is called Paint Shop Pro, not photoshop.

The Adobe Products are the Industry leader and have been for several years. Many like gimp because it's free, Jasc came along way after Photoshop in an effort to try and compete with Adobe Products.
The fact of the matter is there are none that even come close to Adobe Software. It professional Photo and Design Software that just happens to be the Industry standard by which all others are judged.

Jasc Paint Shop Pro is a top program.
I beg to differ with the last answers that say photoshop is better than Jasc Paint Shop Pro. I think they both are capable of the same things only that Jasc PSP is cheaper and in my opinion because I have both, it's easier to use. Once you get used to a program you can do endless things with your pictures. You just have to know your way around it. =)

Adobe Photoshop, I don't know about price difference but Adobe Photoshop CS3 costs around $600. Photoshop has alot more features than Paint shop.

Adobe is so much better, I love how easy it is and small imperfections, gone with a click. You can go to adobe and try the trial version for free. Hope I helped, Happy New Year everyone!!!
