Card dimensions of different brands would be similar and almost identical to ATI's reference design.

Your other concern would be the power supply. E510 usually just have a 305W unit. Although HD 3850 is just a 55 watter, that requirement is drawn mainly from the +12V rail. Get a power supply with strong +12V rail or dual rails.

there is in all probability a small overall performance distinction between the two through bigger bandwidth, yet while there is you would be not trouble-free pressed to observe. that is result on gaming would be minimum, maximum in all probability non-existant. For the fee distinction, although, i might truthfully decide for the visiontek kind. It comes with what you are able to desire to hook it up on your television. the only substantial transformations between the two, different than fee, is that the Visiontek comes with a VGA adaptor (for older reflects like CRT video exhibit gadgets) vs the HiS which comes with the HDMI adaptor fairly. this may be substantial if interior the destiny you do get an HDTV with HDMI connection, yet i'm particular you are able to %. up the HDMI adaptor quite affordably ($10 or so). Visiontek additionally has a life-time guarantee, it is an further bonus. the twin molex-to-pcie 6 pin capacity connector is beneficial besides, in the journey that your capacity furnish dosen't contain one greater 6 pin capacity connector.
