Certain web sites want to run "AxtiveX" for whatever reason. When I get the pop-up window that asks if its ok to run and I either click 'ok' or click the 'x' (close window), IE7 closes down and asks me if I want to snd an error report.

What gives? This has just started to happen.

My PC was infected and after I healed the virus the Many other program were automatically deleted.

When i trie to play the music it gives me a message to type corectly whan i am looking for, i tried to install Media Player 9 it's giving me a message that i already have it installed.

I installed Real Player but it's so slow i don't like it.

When I receive emails with photos in them, it is difficult to open the pictures if they are "jpegs".
My computer goes through several steps before finally opening such photos.
Is there anything I can do to speed this up? I have a modern computer, using Windows XP home edition.

I have an e-machine and have had zero problems till two days ago. I turn on my computer and I hear the fan turn on, my wireless mouse/keyboard receiver is powered, and my cable modem shows it connects with the computer. What doesn't happen is the computer won't turn all the way on or something. The green light that normally comes on in the front now doesn't. I also do not see anything on the monitor. It is like it starts to turn on but then stops. What should I do??? This is very frustrating!
