ok going to buy parts for my pc the question is should i upgrade my ram from 1 gig to 2 gig or upgrade my 3ghz cpu with hyper threading to a core 2 duo e4400 and y ?

I recently bought a nvidia 7600gs and when I put it in my comp it said it would not work at full power because i did not have a good enough power supply. So i bought the recommended power supply and put it into my computer and I was wondering if i would have to reinstall the graphics card for it to work at full power or if it does this automatically once the new power supply goes in.

I am currently on Microsoft Vista Ultimate. Due to compatibility problems, I am not able to run some of my programmes. I would like to install Microsoft XP home edition on the same computer without deleting Microsoft Vista Ultimate. Meaning that I want to install 2 Operating System in my computer. san andreas used to run well in my pc, but now the game crashes a lot. there was a problem with my motherboard and i have repaired it too..still there is some problem. i have a geforce 5200 chipset and 768 mb of ram. i shave reinstalled the game but still the problem continues. cud any one help me please??

I have a BT Home Hub which has wireless and 2 wired connections.

I want to create a network but as far as I understand, the home hub is just for internet access. I want to have 3 wired PC's and a network printer. I already own a 4 port hub (1 WAN port and 4 LAN conns). Can I use this and how?

Hi all, i just bought a new Laptop (Windows VISTA), also i do own a Desktop (Windows XP SP2), now i want to connect both my laptop and desktop, i do not know what stuffs i need to buy to connect them both. also i don't have an internet connection. how can i set up a wireless or otherwise wired LAN connection between both. because i need to transfer the data from desktop to laptop and vice versa also i need to use the multiplayer games using the LAN connections. As i dont have much knowledge in networking. please help me out.

I'm using ADSL router with 4 LAN port. There are 3 laptops and 1 PC in my place. The problem is the internet usage is always exceeded every month. How can I control the internet usage from my PC ? Or is there any ways to block sites from my PC? Is there any software for solving this problem ?

im trying to convert films so they fit on disc it worked once but dont know what ive done coz everytime i burn a disc i have no sound. im using nero to burn but im starting to think the problem is with my winavi8.0. it says its the full version as ive entered code to get out of the trial but still wont convert/burn sound.

i hope ive given enough info for someone to know what the problem is. im running out of disc lol

hi .. i have a simple question about graphics cards . let me illustrate .. suppose i am buying a nvidia 6XXXX graphics card and i have a configuration in mind ( eg - PCI - E , 256 DDR2 RAM , xyz clock speed etc ) . and in the store i find the same config from EVGA and XFX and others . can any one company change the basic architecture of the chipset such as number of pipelines . i know some makers factory overclock it but what about the base level design ? if the chipset is the same eg nvidia 6200 LE .. can one company sell it with 4 pixel pipelines and another with 2 ? please answer only if you know not to earn points and refer me to evga and xfx sites . any authentic answer is most welcome .. thank you ...

right now I hav registered my-self with pay-pal premium, using my g-mail address.

Now I went to this other site which requires me to give them my pay-pal address.
The problem is should I give them my g-mail address thru which I hav registered my-self on pay pal or does the pay-pal will give me some other e-mail address for doing transactions.
