I recently bought a nvidia 7600gs and when I put it in my comp it said it would not work at full power because i did not have a good enough power supply. So i bought the recommended power supply and put it into my computer and I was wondering if i would have to reinstall the graphics card for it to work at full power or if it does this automatically once the new power supply goes in.

No need to do anything after installing the power supply. If your new power supply has a much stronger +12V rail (16 amps or higher) your 7600GS should run stable all day long. 7600GS draws up to only 30 watts or 2.5 amps on the +12V rail.

You do not have to reinstall the card. I find it difficult to believe that the power supply was the problem. In most cases the card, any card you plug in, will work or not work. If there is not enough power from the supply the card won't work. It's not a case of work only at half power because the supply can't provide enough power. It's not like a fan that will run slower because there is not enough power.

Tried pluging a molex conector(the plug that provides power to Hard/dics drives on the graphics card's end(their should be a white or black socket for it?
As a card's drivers only say that when it is not plug not when your power supply is insufficient as it will simply crash or worse destroy the power supply (fuse burns or breaks or power supply gets toasted)

First of all you need to know what wattage you currently have in your PC. If you have a 300-400w power supply, you will need to upgrade this to a 450w minimum for this to work as this graphics card has it's own CPU. I know I just put in the same card in my pc at home. I had the same problem.
