There is no tuner in there, and there is not a common TV standard input.

So you will need something to select which TV channel you watch and then have a VGA or DVI output.

Unless you already have a cable box, satellite receiver, etc. with a VGA or DVI output then probably the best way to go is a TV tuner card.

The disadvantage is that your PC needs to be on. The advantage is that your PC should be able to act as a DVR. It should work fine for cable TV or broadcast, I am not aware of any satellite tuner card though.

http://www.hauppauge.com/ makes some really nice types of TV cards. Plug these into your computer and then plug the cable into the card.
