I wnt my laptop to have intel core 2 duo processor bcz i dnt wnt to compromise on processor and it shud suit my budget as well so plz guide me which laptop is gud my budget is £500

I don't know know the exact specs of the laptop model that you have mentioned. But you can happily go for it, if has an Intel Core 2 Duo, at least 1 GB of RAM, 128 MB nVidia graphics card, and of course a good customer care service. I have never used Sony laptops, so I don't know much about their quality, customer care etc. I prefer Toshiba and HP laptops, as they don't come with all such flashy hardware add-ons and are rock solid. Their customer service (especially HP) is also excellent.

go for sony - but make sure it has a built in ethernet adapter. some sony vaio has only wireless and doesnt have an ethernet port on its side of the laptop

i would say Sony Laptop is better ( personal experience )
