i installed a new hard drive on my desktop computer and when i turn it on it says,

Reboot and select proper boot decice
or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key

so what does tha mean

i have a Gateway E-4610D SB.
it has an Intel core 2CPU
6400@2.13GHz
1.98GB of ram and
is running Microsoft windows XP home edition service pack 2

come with 17 inch flat panel monitor, keyboard and laser mouse included. 3 piece powered speaker system(2 are speakers one is a subwoofer with flat panel design and adjustable bass control)

only problem is, has no harddrive :(

Okay.. Lots of booters and hackers.. that NEVER leave me alone.. i have had accounts stolen,computer viruses...and continuously keep getting booted,becuase i wont flash them or do something along those lines..... what can i do about this? it's turned into an everyday thing. any help would be good

i wanna delete it cuz it hardly apply 2 me and i don't REALLY want them to call me...i wanted 2 volunteer for money and without money also like less than 2 and a half hours

and i go 2 skool..

my computer keeps getting attecked by a hacker. fortunatly he or she hasn't been successful. I'd like track them and stop them from doing it again. is there a way.

I just bought a new ATI Radeon X1650 Pro, I've installed the hardware and removed the old drivers, but when I attempt to install the new ones with the cd that was included with the card, it stops the installation and asks to setup my display adapter with a standard VGA driver. I'm running an Intel Pentium 4 and an Intel motherboard.

i hav a compaq presario F572US, athlon x2, etc.
okey, by mistake i disabeled the shared video memory, and now i have no video at all, it boots and gets three loud beeps, then the computers boots up normally (i can hear wvista).
If inmediately after the beeps, i press f10 (to call bios utility) it beeps again (asuming) its askin for my psswrd, i type it in press enter and after i tried blindly going to restore default but no matter what i do even if i do nothing but wait (after the steps described before) i hear another three beeps and vista starts booting up again with no video. any suggestions,

I purchased a Netgear Wireless G router? I have a desktop PC but want to be able to run my laptop from the other room? The installation directions are unclear as to which computer to setup the router through. To make matters more difficult, I do not have access to add software to my work laptop.

its confusing for me. how do you actually get started? and the whole process of making your movie, anyone can take me step by step on it or know a website that can? From basics to not so basics like whats this whats that, How to begin, how to do this and that etc....

I've never worked with any iMovie program, or any other similiar thing. I'm new to all of this actually. I just realised this computer had windows movie maker, so I tried using it, I thought maybe it'll prepare me for my iMovie in a way, but don't actually know what i'm doing. I also don't know if it's worth my time learning one while i'm going to use another, they might be totally difrent.
I want to know as much as I can before I get started don't want to be to lost, and about the '06/'08 difrence, does it allow me to use 'em both for the same project? Like use the best in the '06 for my movie then transfer to '08 for those feature?

Note: getting Macbook over The Pro.
Can anyone PLZ answer my questions, please.

It's especially slow when I'm opening a .doc from a website or something, that wasn't made for 2007. Most of time it just takes like 10 seconds to start up and 15 to start typing. When its a .doc it takes like a full minute to start typing.
