okay so my laptop broke (it was a compaq) - and im thinking about getting a mac
i want it to have enough space so that it'll be fast and i can still download things onto it (like the sims 2, photoshop, etc.)
annnd it can't be like the most expensive one out there.. D:

just so you know, you'd have to buy a new version of the sims 2 if you're switching to a mac. most software you have wont work on these.
Generally macs come in "great" and "better"
starting around $1,200
the thing about pc's is that you can get one relativly cheap, however you are getting what you pay for.

well well... keep with the PC systems..
it will cost you a fortune to say the least...
the mac is a stand alone system that means your tied to mac for everything. software, hardware, and repairs, and none of them come cheap..
now you will need to learn the mac OS/x system which is not like windows, though it is point and click. next you will need to have installed a second operating system that runs windows which come at a price. then you will need windows
I would suggest you do some serious research on your own, before you buy a mac system... on total cost for everything if you wont to use windows... or windows programs
Mac are not what they are made out to be, they are expensive compaired a comparable PC of the same speck...
