I have a Lexmark 5400 series, and I have a problem. I can send faxes, but for some reason I cannot receive them. I checked the phone line connection, and that was not the problem. I read the manual's troubleshooting section, and nothing worked. HELP PLEASE!!!

I'm living in a building and the internet provided in it is through a LAN network. In other words, I connect from the wall jack to my laptop via a network cable.
So, I recently bought a Sitecom wireless broadband network router, and connected the WAN port to the wall-jack, but my laptop does not detect the router? :(
I setup and configured whatever's required, but still no use :(
- I posted the above question and I got the below answer:
Since that LAN network is shared with the rest of the building, I would not expect your router to work on it. Simply put, there's already a router between the building's jacks and the Internet, and I don't think you can stack routers like this.

When ever I go to log into my email... on my address bar this keeps coming up and my email page is blank. And the only way I can exit the page is to go to my task manager and take it off. I recently had my email hacked into. Does this mean anything to anyone? Does this mean my mail could possibly be redirected to someone elses sight? It is my ex boyfriend and his new still married girlfriend who had gotten into my email. Please help. And is there a way I can prove she has been on my site, because she used a email message that I had sent to my now ex and she rewrote some of my emails and I have them but since it originated from my ips i don't know how to prove she had done this. This particular email was not sent to them but she and he pretended to be me and changed my password and opened my mail up. I know this for sure but like I said she used emails that I had already sent and she just reopened them and resent them to people I knew. She did it as attactments off of her computer.

i m running a web server using windows xp for my assignment, i would like to do so testing so that people outside my local area network can access my web server, then i can detect which user has accessed to it, as i know there is a way that using my external ip with a specified port number to access it, any idea how to do it??

I'm 19, have a year and a piece of experience, I have an Ortronics certificate saying I'm qualified to pull and terminate fiber optic cable. I would like to close my old paypal account, however it is currently been limited so they wont let me close it. I've been getting some very bad latency as of late, and I suspect that perhaps someone has hacked my wireless router. Is there anyway of checking who is using the router, wireless, wired, or otherwise?

When I start up my computer, it runs pretty slowly and when my icons and everything come out, it takes like half an hour for something to load or it just doesn't do it. When I run it on safe mode, it goes a lot faster. My antivirus expired so I'm just running the yahoo online version of antispy for the moment. Any tips on how to fix my computer?
