I'm wondering what the name is and where can I buy this cord. It's NOT the ethernet cord (cat5). It's the cord that goes from the back of the dsl modem to the phone jack. It looks exactly like a phone cord but its thicker and white in color.

Its actually the same type of cable, just looks different. You can buy these cords at your local electronics stores.

You can use any phone cord to go from the modem to the phone jack. Keep in mind that a DSL signal is carried along the copper wires in that cord so don't use any crappy old one. Get a brand new one and hook it up, it will work.

Anonymous got it right. It is a simple phone cord that connects your wall jack to the dsl modem. Nothing fancy there.

The Name you can find it as a Phone Cord or RJ-14. Like you said, it looks exactly like a phone cord.
